A very happy Josh Dionne scores the go-ahead goal to put Duke in the lead for good in their 19-16 win over the Virginia Cavaliers.Â

The Age of “Fauxtojournalism”
From the Chicago Tribune:
If your photographs can’t be be trusted because the underlying facts don’t support its face value meaning, then you’ve joined the legions of propagandists in the world. Congratulations and goodbye.
Go hang the pictures on a wall somewhere, preferably in a gallery known for conceptual art.Â
Just don’t call it photojournalism.
During the 2009-10 basketball season I was hired by NC State’s Alumni Association to work with them on a behind-the-scenes story on Kellie Harper, the university’s new head women’s basketball coach. I was given amazing access to the team both on and off the court during this story.Â
Yesterday it was announced that Coach Harper would not return for the 2013-14 season. I was sadden to hear that as I had so much fun working for her. She was full of life and such a fierce competitor. She was really kind to me and the writer, Cherry Crayton, as we worked on this story.
More photos posted here. The text from Cherry’s articles are here.
Kellie Harper
Sorry to hear that NC State’s women’s basketball head coach Kellie Harper will not be coming back. I don’t know the back story, but I do know that she was a great person. Her first season I did a behind-the-scenes story on her and found her warm and welcoming. Best to her for the future.Â
So honored to have one of my photos featured on the cover of Inside Lacrosse magazine. Â It was a snowy, cold and miserable day for a game, but it worked out. Â You can view some of the behind-the-scenes stuff on Inside Lacrosse and on my website. Â Buy a copy from Inside Lacrosse too!Â
Photos from Duke’s win over North Carolina basketball. Got a sick photo of James Michael McAdoo dunking in that game. [Game album]
